Simon received his M.Sc. in physics from the University of Würzburg. He is now a PhD-candidate in the chair of Laurens W. Molenkamp at the University of Würzburg. Simon is working on quantum transport in two and three dimensional topological insulators with focus on the spin properties of these material systems.
