We regret to inform you that in light of the health risks associated with COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the EP2DS-23 / MSS-19 joint conference planned for July 27th - 31st 2020 at Wuerzburg University. Since the fast moving circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic hardly allow reliable predictions for the remainder of 2020, we have resisted the temptation of rescheduling the conference further towards the autumn/winter but decided to cancel it altogether for this year.
Under these bleak circumstances we are particularly pleased to announce that the next EP2DS / MSS joint conference will be held in Toyama, Japan, from October 31st to November 5th, 2021. Please note that the EP2DS conference will be chaired by Dr. Koji Muraki (NTT Basic Research Laboratory) and the MSS conference will be chaired by Professor Masaaki Tanaka (University of Tokyo).

The Joint Conference of EP2DS-23 and MSS-19 will be organized by the Julius-Maximilians-University and will take place from July 27th to 31st, 2020, at the University of Würzburg.

EP2DS-23
The Electronic Properties of Two-Dimensional Semiconductors(EP2DS) conference has been an opportunity to share new results on two-dimensional systems- featuring semiconductor quantumwells, graphene and topological insulators. Further transition metal dichalgonides have risen in popularity and oxide heterostructures.
MSS-19
The International Conference on Modulated Semiconductor Structures (MSS) focuses on the basics and applied research in modulated structures.
