Faculty of Physics and Astronomy

At the Faculty, 10 Chairs of Experimental Physics and 5 Chairs of Theoretical Physics conduct research at the highest level. The main focuses are on quantum phenomena in novel materials, applied physics and nanoscale physics, the physics of space, time and matter as well as on the physics of the life sciences.
