Faculty of Mathe­matics and Computer Science

At the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, which consists of the Institute of Mathematics and the Institute of Computer Science, more than 45 professors and their research groups currently teach and conduct research. In terms of both teaching and research, the faculty covers all fundamental areas of mathematics and computer science, but also more specialized areas such as AI and Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Science and Sustainability, Economathematics, Games Engineering, Mathematical Physics, and Aerospace Informatics. Around 2500 students are currently being taught in more than 20 different bachelor's, master's and teaching degree programs.
