In 2020 approximately 43 international professors did research at the JMU.
The JMU has a worldwide network of partner universities with a strong emphasis on European cooperation. In the past few years these cooperations have been gradually increased and intensified. Currently, there are 70 exchanges within the framework of the ERASMUS programme in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and Turkey.
